I set the conditions — the palette, the initial wash, the direction of movement — and then I listen. The blooms, the bleeds, the unexpected gradients that emerge are not mistakes. They are the work finding its own truth. 2. Colour as EmotionIn this series, colour is never decorative. Each palette is chosen to evoke a specific emotional state. Digital Precision Meets Organic SpontaneityThe digital process allows me to work in layers, building depth gradually and refining edges. I can also intensify tones while preserving the organic spontaneity of the original watercolour gesture. This balance is everything. Too much control and the work becomes sterile. Too little and it loses its intention. 4. Personal InterpretationThese works are deliberately open. I never want to tell you what to see. The golden warmth in one composition might feel like sunrise to you. It might feel like late summer or a memory of a place you loved. That personal interpretation is not a side effect. It is the entire point.
